Our Voice of Guest technology provides live in-stay feedback from guests directly to hoteliers, allowing hotels to swiftly react to problems and to enhance the reputation of the hotel.

Job Description:

As a MD of Hotels for Yuvoh, you will be responsible to:

  • Develop business strategy and plans keeping in view the long term and short term objectives of the company
  • Recruit, train and lead employees to create a high performing motivated team
  • Work with the founders to oversee all operations and business activities to ensure the business plans are achieved successfully
  • Help scale up the company to a commercially successful venture
  • Pitch to investors to raise capital for the business along with the founders

Key responsibilities:

  • Set the vision and strategy of the company to take it from launch to scale
  • Create a business plan, have it approved by the board and ensure adherence through impeccable execution
  • Attract, train and retain high caliber employees keeping them motivated and engaged in the company mission. Having a strong network in the hotel industry is preferred including with other B2B software vendors.
  • Develop a high performance and agile team culture
  • Align resources and make high-quality investment decisions to achieve key business goals
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the industry and competition activities taking steps to ensure the Yuvoh differentiation continues to exist
  • Be the face of the company in industry forums, conferences, and other external events
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain legality and business ethics
  • Drive day to day operations taking prudent decisions in order to guide all departments, including operations, sales, and product development
  • Evaluate the financial reports and capital structure to ensure liquidity in the company and reduce burn rates when required
  • Build strategic partnerships and develop relationships with key partners and stakeholders while acting as an additional point of contact with important shareholders 
  • Provide financial and strategic updates to the Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders

Desired skills:

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organisational and leadership skills
  • +5 years of experience leading and scaling a high growth startup
  • Experience in working as part of the C suite or a similar leadership position, preferably in the hospitality sector
  • Strong understanding of handling a P&L and managing burn rates
  • Experience in handling a 15+ member team and a good understanding of the   performance management principles
  • Proven track record of building successful products and/or a high performing team from the ground up
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and general management principles
  • Experience in managing a Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders
  • Prior working experience in developing digital products and solutions preferred
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Fluency in an additional European language would be a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree (Masters’ degree preferred)
